The BENS Regional Partnerships create and facilitate regional public-private partnerships - to help close gaps in homeland security that neither government, nor business, can fill alone. Currently, Regional Partnerships mobilize private sector support in four general categories: Assets, Volunteers, Information Sharing, and Strategic Support.

Regional Parnterships provide the means for the private sector and government to build an efficient, collaborative partnership - one that strengthens a region's capability to prevent, prepare for, and respond to security threats or other catastrophic events.
